Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)

PBN works with individuals who came to the United States as children and would like to do something about their undocumented status. DACA allows them to apply for legal status in the United States, seek employment, and go to college. Volunteer attorneys and translators work with clients to collect necessary documentation and complete the lengthy application, supporting their efforts to continue accessing education and building futures here.

U Visa Immigration
Undocumented immigrants report only 17 percent of the crimes committed against them. Using protections provided under the federal Violence Against Women Act, PBN’s program supports clients who report and cooperate with law enforcement on the crimes committed against them. Volunteer attorneys assist eligible clients to file for their U Visa, which grants them permission to live and work in the United States and can provide a pathway to lawful permanent residency.
