Guardianship offers one solution to help adults who are not capable of making decisions on their own, such as where to live or when to seek medical treatment. PBN has two programs helping people navigate this complex court process. In one instance, volunteer attorneys assist clients in drafting documents for people seeking to become guardians for family members; and in a second project, they file and represent clients through the final hearing.
